Great base for exploring the area, with dog-friendly beaches within easy reach. Convenient location with everything you need within walking distance.
Not fully secure for dogs, as the garden wasn't enclosed enough. the noise from the road in the front bedroom can be bothersome for light sleepers.

The house was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. The facilities were excellent and had everything you needed from home. The area had beautiful views over the river/estuary and the house was well insulated, so not much noise from the road. It was also nice to have a complementary welcome gift of Welsh cakes and wine. The lounge area was well-fitted with a dining table, and the big bathroom with shower and bath was a plus. a comfortable and spacious stay.
Parking was not ideal as there was no on-site parking and the free car park was not visible from the property. However, we managed to find curb parking opposite the house, which worked out okay.

I had a wonderful stay at Waters Edge in Penclawdd. The cottage is in a fabulous location with stunning scenery and a peaceful ambiance in the backyard. The host was very helpful and even left some treats for us, which was a nice touch. There were plenty of local shops and places to eat nearby, and I highly recommend trying the Paprika Indian restaurant. The cottage overlooks the marshes and common land, where we had the pleasure of meeting some wild ponies. It's a great place for dog walks and exploring the local area. I was impressed with the house, the garden, and the lovely surroundings. Despite some minor road noise in the front bedroom, which I eventually got used to, the positives of this place far outweighed any drawbacks. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for a stress-free and enjoyable getaway.

The view from the back garden overlooking the water was beautiful and very peaceful. the house itself was spacious and well-equipped, with a comfortable living room and a lovely kitchen. - the location by the estuary was great, with easy access to parking and convenient for exploring the surrounding area.
The curtains in the second bedroom did not fully close, resulting in too much light in the morning which made it difficult to sleep. The hot water system was a bit inconsistent, going from very hot to lukewarm without any apparent reason.

This cozy holiday home in a stunning location offers beautiful views and great walks. Equipped with everything you could possibly need, the clean and comfortable rooms provide a home away from home experience. The kitchen and bathroom facilities are top-notch, with an amazing shower and a nice big bath. The welcoming touches like welsh cakes and wine add a special touch. The garden furniture is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
The only downside is the road noise in the front bedroom, which could be improved with better soundproofing.
